San Antonio Spurs vs Oklahoma City Thunder- WESTERN CONFERENCE FINALS-Game 2

Oklahoma City Thunder aggressiveness got them a win in Game 2 against San Antonio Spurs

Oklahoma City Thunder had one plan and they stuck to it, and it proved it worked

Oklahoma City Thunder game plan that was drawn up was the perfect antidote for the Wembanyama trifecta. Oklahoma decided to take Chet Holmgren and place him out in the perimeter, and they put Isaiah Hartenstein on Victor Wembanyama. Hartenstein played Wembanyama very well he leaned, pulled grabbed, jerked scratched everything but the tango on him. It caused Wemby to get out of rhythm, it caused Coach Mitch Johnson to have side bar meetings with the referee during the game. Wemby had a 21 point game with 17 rebounds.

The way the game was drawn up it allowed Shai Gilgeous Alexander to have a more offensive start and freedom with ball movement. Shai game looked more like the MVP portfolio that they are used too. He had 30 points The bench had a more productive game; once again Alex Caruso played great. Also, the offensive and defensive rebounds were going OKC way as well.

Oklahoma City Thunder knew that this was a pivotal win for them. They could not afford to take two losses to the Spurs, and they were successful in their efforts. Going into the next game there are some injuries to look at for the OKC Jalen Williams is out with a hamstring and on the Spurs side De'Aaron Fox and Dylan Harper won't be available for the next game.

Going into the San Antonio Spurs territory the next two games will not be easy.
