NBA Point Guard Kyle Lowery is Retiring

Kyle Lowery has decided to hang up the kicks

Kyle Lowery is one of the most inspiring and well-known point guards to step on the hardwood.  Kyle easily considered one of the best and has proven to be the man that may have put the Toronto Raptors on the map. Kyle in his two-decade career was the point guard you loved if you were a Toronto Raptor fan or the one you hated if your team was their opponent.

Kyle was drafted from Villanova University in 2006 where he played two years in the first round to the Memphis Grizzlies. In 2009 he was then traded to the Houston Rockets then to the Toronto Raptors in 2012. The pairing of Kyle Lowery and DeMar DeRozan with Toronto was one of the best to watch. (They even had Drake the rapper at the games about to lose his mind) (lol)

The contribution and assistance of Kyles play making style and ball movement abilities put Toronto on the horizon making monumental achievements with reaching the playoffs and the team winning a championship for the very first time, also winning the Atlantic Division Title, the team went on to an elevated 56 wins getting them to the Eastern Conference Finals. Kyle Lowery style was veered as "that guy", the one that will bring up the ball and taking the tough shots winning the game in the midst of adversity. A true warrior and leader on the court that seemed to make everyone better.

Kyle went on to other teams after Toronto; in 2021-2024 he went to Mami Heat and the Philadelphia 76ers in 2024-2026.

Characteristics of a Raptor- is sharp, powerful with extraordinarily keen eyesight. Kyle Lowery is the true definition of those characteristics on the court.

Thanks for sharing your gift for us to see. Kyle Lowery one of the greats is signing out.
