NBA-Russell Westbrook Rumors- Could a Reunion be in his Future??

NBA Rumor Mill they got Russell Westbrook possibly going back the Sacramento Kings

Russell Westbrook is still at the house waiting on a phone call to see where he will be playing this upcoming season or if not. Russell contract ended in the 2025-2026 season with the Sacramento Kings due it being just a one-year contract and right now he is a free agent waiting on the call. (I can imagine him picking up the phone every time it rings and it's a damn SPAM call)

Russell who will be age 38 this year has had a great career spanning over 18 seasons. Russell is a dynamic point guard who is known for his fast pace and the leader and king of triple doubles (you see what I did king of triple doubles-Sacramento Kings). Russell has been proven to be an NBA top tier player and a true work horse on the hardwood. This season Russell has slowed down some but still managing 15points 6 assists. (umm these numbers are wayyyy better than some younger players who I will not name)

The rumor has it Russell might probably go back to the Sacramento Kings. It was first out that Sacramento wanted to release the veteran in its readjustment of the team due to the organization failed season only winning 22 games this season. Now it's being revealed that they might not want to let Russell walk quite yet. Sacramento is looking for a veteran player to provide guidance and leadership to the newly fresh Sacramento Kings team. Sacramento have acquired rookies Darius Acuff, Alex Karaban and Emanuel Sharp and by Darius Acuff being a point guard the training he would get from Russell could be instrumental in shaping his career and longevity. 

The rumor is back at Sacramento or possibly Houston Rockets. I guess we will have to wait along with Russell Westbrook on this one. In the mean-time I hope when or if he decides to retire, I hope he goes to OKC for one game so they can retire his jersey.

Say what you want to say about Russell Westbrook, he may not have a championship ring; but he got the resume and accolades; just google his name!!!
