Detroit Pistons vs Orlando Magic-NBA game 4

Detroit Pistons needs a lifeline Orlando Magic has the series 3-1

The Detroit Pistons is about to Detroit hustle right out of the playoffs

I know I know I can't believe the turn of events. Detroit who was owning the Eastern Conference with the number one seed is in some serious trouble right now. I can't explain what happened and what went wrong. Detroit is losing to a team who was in the play in tournament and seeded number seven. Orlando has the series 3-1 and I am sure they are just as shocked as the rest of us. The final score was Orlando Magic 94 and Detroit Pistons 88.

Honestly both of these teams seem to struggle offensively on the three-point line tonight. Orlando game plan was to keep the score close the whole night and then put it in overdrive towards the end and it worked. While credit is due to Orlando for the win well deserved, but I can't help but wonder where the desperation was from Detroit.

Detroit Pistons only had two people who really showed up offensively Tobias Harris with 20 points and Cade Cunningham with 25 points, and the rest of the team was twelve points or less. This was unacceptable and you can't win a ball game that way. Contribution is the key; it takes the pressure off your key player and spreads out the floor creating open looks. Desmond Bane was the high score for Orlando Magic with 22 points.

If the young team is going to win and beat you let them take it, not hand it to them on a buffet style platter.
The series is not over yet, but someone will have to resuscitate Detroit before the next game if they have any fighting chance to win. Can someone play the "hype me up" song for them Pistons.

Next game or possibly the last game of this series will be Wednesday, April 29, 2026, 6:00pm.
