Houston Rockets beat the LA Lakers and the famous broom

The Rockets beat the LA Lakers on yesterday making the series 1-3

The Houston Rockets with determination and pride decided they weren't ready for you to pull out the brooms quite yet. The Rockets pulled out a win with the final score Houston Rockets 115 to LA Lakers 96. Houston had a great start of the game and maintained it throughout. Houston, you have to give them credit they are a young team, and they are playing without any star power. Some of their key players are out right now due to injuries. (Kevin Durant, Fred VanVleet, Stephen Adams)

Does anyone know if Kevin Durant will ever play past 10 games? His derriere has to be hurting he sits on the bench so much he is wearing out the padding. Why continue to circle this drain, is it worth it. Watching Durant can be exasperating he is a great player and a true MVP in his own right, but if you blink too quick you will miss him playing in a season. Durant has played with a total of six teams so far and I am wondering if Houston will be his last stop. (I somehow doubt it) Will Houston continue to invest in providing Durant another seat cushion year after year. (Just curious)

Houston played a collective game Amen Thompson, Alperen Sengun, Teri Eason, Reed Sheppard, Jabari Smith all were great offensively. The Lakers don't want to play more games than they have too. The Lakers are itching to end this series. If Houston can manage a formula to push another game, they better their chances of possibly wearing down Lebron James. Everyone knows that the key to the Lakers losing is to get to Lebron.

Next game will be on April 29, 2026 @ 9:00pm
