NBA First Round Play Offs- Day 2

 NBA First Round of Playoffs

Day 2 of First Round Playoffs where some games were sleepers

Boston Celtics vs the Philadelphia Seventy Sixers was a yawn fest. Boston pummeled the Seventy Sixers with a score of 123 to 91. Tyrese Maxey for Philadelphia put up a good fight with 21 points, Paul George had 17 points but well the other team members decided not to show up today. Philadelphia is still trying to maneuver without Joel Embiid, but if they don't show any vigor, you can put this series to bed really quick. Boston Celtics didn't even sweat this game.

Oklahoma City Thunder vs Phoenix Suns boring game number two of the day. 💤Oklahoma City Thunder won 119 to 84. Ok Ok.... I am not surprised Oklahoma City Thunder won, after all they are a superior team, but I am completely shocked at the thrashing that they gave Phoenix Suns. Phoenix just laid down and just took it. Statistically Phoenix has a great list of players but apparently, they took the day off.

Detroit Pistons vs Orlando Magic now this one was a doozy, this game was a physical packed game. Orlando Magic won this game 112 to 101. Now I thought this series would be interesting, because I had no idea on what to expect.  But.... Detroit was seeded number one on the East and Cade Cunningham has been a point machine. Cunningham didn't disappoint he managed 39 points in the game. Detroit is known for its physical dominance and aggressive plays, but Orlando was ready for it. Orlando came out with nothing to lose. Every time Detroit tried to mount a comeback Orlando wasn't having it. I somehow think Detroit will use this game as fuel; watch out Orlando.

Portland Trail Blazers vs San Antonio Spurs this game was on a scale of on a hopeful level.  I didn't completely fall asleep on this game (maybe a little nod here and there) Portland was terrible on the offensive rebound boards and when they seem to make a run they made a lot of loose ball errors. They seem to shoot themselves in the foot during the game. Defensively they did not have an answer for the Spurs Victor Wembanyama. The Spurs also had some offensive board help from Stephon Castle, De'Aaron Fox and Devin Vassel. Spurs win it 111 to 98.
