NBA-New York Knicks vs Atlanta Hawks Game 3

New York Knicks got a Mike Brown Problem

The 6th player on New York Knicks team is an issue for them-Mike Brown

The New York Knicks versus Atlanta Hawks in game 3 in the series goes to Atlanta Hawks on April 23, 2026. The final score was 109-108. Atlanta you have to give them their props they came to play from the jump. CJ McCollum from the Hawks had a massive game along with Jonathan Kuminga. Their offense and defense were electric, which had them leading for the majority of the game. If you ask me watching Kuminga play in this series makes me wonder if Golden State Warriors is crying in a pillow or beating their head against a wall. They traded him for what, what did they get in return?

People may not agree with my opinion on this, but I am over the Karl Anthony Towns with the Knicks blame game. (KAT KAT KAT KAT) he needs to be traded, we need Giannis Antetokounmpo. Towns is not the issue. If you study the last two games, it has been some serious coaching errors on the part of Knicks coaching staff.  It's easy to blame the big fellow. While Towns could be more aggressive in the post at times, who fault is it. Mike Brown hasn't been able to establish a set standard.

Who is assisting Jalen Brunson with setting up screens, he is getting clobbered and smothered defensively. Brunson is not able to set; he is dribbling too much, the ball is getting stolen, he is keeping the ball in his hands too long, and he is throwing the ball away. Is this Towns fault?? In a defensive series you take Towns out of the play along with Bunson and you put in your smaller lineup and within a second of inbounding the ball Atlanta shoots the ball and score. Is this Towns fault?? You have other starters in the game, and they can't seem to make a basket just turnovers. (Hart and Bridges; just saying) Is this Towns fault??? You take your two scorers out the game, and you sit them out at the same time and expect the team to mount a comeback in the last few minutes when you decide to put them in. (No pressure here) This is just Towns fault is the narrative.

Ohh wait you got your star player Jalen Brunson running around like a headless goose chasing CJ McCollum and he is so tired defensively, he is too dizzy to make plays offensively.

For the Knicks Honorable Mention award goes to: Towns and Anunoby.

OK OK OK Im done!!! Hope the Knicks aren't.
