San Antonio Spurs Rout Portland Trailblazers in Game 5
ZZZZZZZ- This series was a snore fest. Sorry Portland
The
San Antonio Spurs has moved on to the second round of the playoffs beating the
Portland Trailblazers and ending its misery. Unfortunately, Portland was not able to make this series competitive like I am sure they wanted. The series ended with San Antonio 4 and Portland 1. Last night the game was basically just like the rest Portland was outscored and outmatched and eventually outplayed.
Portland just did not have enough shooters to make this series interesting. While Deni Avdija was really good in most of the games and Jrue Holiday a veteran who still maintains unbelievable skills at times they just could not keep up offensively. Portland also had a hard time getting rebounds and keeping the Spurs off the rebounding boards. This team is relatively a young team and with a little experience and time I see them being a dark horse in the future. I am sure during the off season they will make some tweaks with their offense productivity.
As for the San Antonio Spurs, they are lying in wait for their next opponent. Right now, San Antonio is looking pretty good and might be the ones to beat in the Western Conference. This team has their superstar in Victor Wembanyama while he is shooting on all cylinders, he also has De'Aaron Fox by his side playing aggressive and with purpose. San Antonio is giving me taking no prisoner vibes. I hope the next team can give me something that can wake me up in the next series some anti sleep medication or some strong caffeine. That's all I am asking. Is that too much to ask for?
