LA LAKERS IS MOVING ON AS THEY EMBARRASSED THE HOUSTON ROCKETS
Houston, you got a problem!!!!
First, I want to give out accolades to the LA Lakers I am sure I am not the only one who didn't think they would make it out the first round of the Western Conference. Oh, come on, I know I am not the only one who thought it. I felt that while Lebron James would show up and show out in which he did he would need additional help with Luka Doncic being out with a season ending injury. I had no idea that the other starters would show up as well. Last night credit went to Rui Hachimura he had a great game; he can be a no show at times. Hachimura on last night game had a respectable total of 21 points and 6 rebounds. Lebron James of course did his thing as usual with 28 points and 7 rebounds.
Now on the other hand let's get to the image above. (As a disclaimer I am a Kevin Durant fan. I watched him when he was with Oklahoma City Thunder, and I know what kind of great player he is) This is the question that I am posing why Houston Rockets player Kevin Durant is on the bench???? Is it really an injury or is it he just isn't satisfied there at the Rockets.
Durant is sitting on his laurels collecting coins while these youngsters are giving their best. My empathy goes out to Head Coach of Houston Rockets; Ime Udoka he coached his best in what he had. There is an elephant in the room that no one is really addressing and until then: Houston you have a problem.
Kudos to Houston Rockets in your journey, in the off season they will tweak some things, maybe by adding a veteran player in the mix for more basketball experience, on both sides of the court.
Until then Lakers move on to a basketball juggernaut, Oklahoma City Thunder.
