New York Knicks vs Philadelphia 76ers Game 3

Concrete Jungle Where Things are Made of New York-New York Knicks win game 3

New York Knicks win game 3 against Philadelphia 76ers

Game 3 took place in Philadelphia 76ers home court, New York came in game 3 and took the win. Philadelphia came in with aggressiveness. Paul George was teaching a master class in shot making. Joel Embiid got Karl Anthony Towns in early foul trouble. The New York Knicks had a hard start they couldn't find the rim and rhythm. Paul George had 15 points in the first quarter; he was the Paul George of yesteryear.

Then just like the last couple of games Philadelphia grew tired and began to get outplayed. The issue with Philadelphia is that they do not have a deep bench nor a bench whatsoever. When the starters come out to rest, they don't have an answer, just to stay in the game they have to extend playing minutes to their starters and they are exhausted.  We all know that with exhaustion comes air balls, missed shots, turnovers, silly fouls. It was reported that at one point New York Knicks bench scored 25 points to 0 Philadelphia bench, you can't win games with those stats. This issue seems too big to overcome.

In the meantime, New York Knicks fans are twerking upside down, pointing, cheering and doing the bunny hop all in the stands, enjoying every minute and taking it all in. All season the Knicks have dealt with doubters, haters and trade rumors, and they are expressing with every game Why Not Us.

Game 4 will be played on Sunday May 10, 2026
