"I think I can" "I think I can", Nope Minnesota loss game 3 to the San Antonio Spurs
San Antonio Spurs won game 3 against Minnesota Timberwolves in their territory
This game was more of an exciting game totally opposite of the last game between these two. Unfortunately for the Minnesota Timberwolves the result was still the same they loss. This game was full of high energy and was very physical so much so, the referee Tony Brothers and the Minnesota Timberwolves Coach Chris Finch wanted some of the action, they had to be restrained from each other.
This game was a complete one for Minnesota from the beginning, they just did not have enough offense fire power. Anthony Edwards left it all on the hardwood he had 32 points playing 41 minutes. They just needed a little more from Julius Randle and Rudy Gobert.
Minnesota had an opportunity in getting Victor Wembanyama the San Antonio Spurs best player out of the game he had 5 fouls in the 4th quarter with 6 minutes to go but Minnestota wasn't able to utilize this for their benefit. Rudy Gobert in guarding Wembanyama he allowed him to lull him into the perimeter then drive and Rudy just didn't have an answer to the equation. Victor Wembanyama was victorious in this game 3, with 39 points and 15 rebounds.
This series is now San Antonio Spurs 2-1 against Minnesota Timberwolves
