NBA Finals Game 1-New York Knicks vs San Antonio Spurs

GAME 1 OF THE NBA FINALS WENT TO NEW YORK KNICKS

Captain clutch Jalen Brunson showed up again in the 4th quarter

This game was everything I thought it would be, it was a game of a great Finals. This game one was one you didn't want to miss, not even for a second. It was like getting on the teacup rides at the fair, deceiving its fast it jerks you around and you are anticipating the end of it.

In the first half the San Antonio Spurs played better than the New York Knicks. You can tell that the Knicks were rusty with the extended time off. San Antonio players Dylan Harper, the rookie was game ready. Dylan played a good first half he was 6-10 from the field, 16 points and 8 rebounds. He played aggressive even defensively. Julian Champagnie also was a great contributor he went on a 3-point tangent in the first half.

But the second half in the late third quarter changed a little Victor Wembanyama sat on the bench and that's when the goat of crunch time took control Jalen Brunson who didn't have a particular good game in the first half went on to weave through traffic of defensive play makers shooting shots and shot a 3 pointer falling down. It was a beauty it seemed like he was working in slow motion. It hypnotized me....

The Knicks being down by one point with two minutes left. Jalen Brunson and gang went on a 11-0 run, to close the game; with the score of 105-95.

In the post interview Jalen Brunson was asked about comebacks and resilience in the games: "We know what we have to do, we are a pretty together group and we have to be able to trust one another and have each other's back. It's a credit to the mentality of the team. We can't be satisfied; we have to be better".
