COACH RICK ADELMAN ONE OF THE GREATEST COACHES TO BE REMEMBERED

Wow today on my feed it showed Coach Rick Adelman passed away today on June 1, 2026 at the age of 79. How heartbreaking, growing up he was one of the most prominent coaches I can remember. 

Please forgive me if I miss a coach in this list; but Chuck Daly, Pat Riley, Larry Brown, Gregg Popovich and Rick Adelman these were and still are household names when talking about NBA basketball. His legacy will never be duplicated or erased but will be remembered as the coach who inspired and laid the groundwork for many.  

Coach you were inducted in the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame, and you entered one of my favorite coaches lists as a child growing up loving basketball, may you rest in peace.
