The NBA Carousel- Trades, Free Agencies and Rumors.......
Lebron James has decided to enter the free agency leaving behind the Los Angeles Lakers and is looking for possibly his last team before retirement. Since then, a few changes have been made to the LA Lakers roster in the team rebuild. Deandre Ayton has since been traded to the Washington Wizards for Jaden Hardy. Deandre comes with some medium-size luggage with 12 points and 8 rebounds. Rui Hachimura also has left the Lakers building in the free agency signing a $28 million contract with the LA Clippers. The veteran Marcus Smart went to the Houston Rockets, Luke Kennard went to the Phoenix Suns, and Jaxson Hayes went to Utah Jazz.
DeMar DeRozan is an unrestricted free agent. DeMar ended up being waived by Sacramento Kings and he is looking to be an addition to a solid championship contender team. DeMar has a lot to contribute to any team. De Mar statistics bolster at 18 points, 4 assists and 2 rebounds, the 17-year NBA veteran still has cemented his place on the court, he has managed a career that has seen him earning the accolade of being number 16 leading scorer in league history surpassing Dominique Wilkens and Oscar Robertson.
Joel Embiid Trade rumors are running rampant but have no validity. You hear the rumor of Joel Embiid being traded for Anthony Davis, Jimmy Butler and whomever the masses decide to put in the mix. I don't really anticipate Joel Embiid going anywhere his contract is too heavy to unload at this point. They will continue to build around him with some bigger sharp shooting players to increase the roster.
Draymond Green Rumor mill, threats and just plain on obnoxious. Draymond is antagonizing the Golden State Warriors on possibly leaving in the free agency and taking his limited talents to another team. (Great). Draymond Green stats from this season are 8 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. 🤯 There is a rumor mill out on the social media streets that he will be teaming up with Lebron James to head to another team and to tear down their roster. (Great). There was speculation that Lebron James might make a move to Golden State Warriors in the beginning, but I think that thought process fell flat and Lebron James is looking for a more of team that may have more championship possibilities or at least in the hunt at this stage and not a team that is in the recalibrating stage. While in the end I think Draymond will stay with the team that has provided him loyalty over the years, until he decides to trade the team bench for his living room sofa.
