Jonathan Kuminga will be amongst the wolf pack
Jonathan Kuminga is taking his basketball career and journey to the tune of his own terms. Kuminga the small forward has decided in his free agency to go to the Minnesota Timberwolves. What does his contract look like? Well it is reported that Kuminga has agreed to a two-year term with a $12.4 million dollar contract with the Timberwolves organization. The contract includes a player option for the second year of the contract. The option gives Kuminga an opportunity to decide if he wants to go back in th free agency again next season.
Kuminga who is great basketball player that averages 12 points 5 rebounds and 2 assists per game is a great contributor to any team. In Kuminga free agency it is reported that he had a couple of greater financial offers, but Kuminga decided to choose the Minnesota Timberwolves.
I think that this is a great move for Kuminga this will allow him to be a starter instead of coming off the bench which I am sure that is what he wanted and required in negotiations. I think he will be an asset to the Timberwolves already booming roster with Lamelo Ball, Anthony Edwards, Ayo Dosumnu, Jaden McDaniels and Rudy Gobert. Personally, speaking this team gives me young street baller vibes. This team will be one to watch for in the season. If personally they can come together and gel, I can see them winning plenty of games.
Unfortunately, because of the move to get Kuminga on the team it pushes the team $2 million dollars over the NBA second apron, which means a trade is forthcoming. In order to clear up the cap space work on the street is saying it might be Josh Green or Donte DiVincenzo. So let's stand by to see who will get the ole heave ho.
