LSU WINS CONVINCINGLY
Well let's run it back;
LSU looked like a NCAA Football champion team without a doubt. The quarterback Sam Leavitt was impressive. I can honestly say when I saw him running through the defense I was left in awe, this guy is the truth. The quarterback spear headed the offense without any nerves with 113 rushing yards and 230 passing yards and a passing touchdown.
The ground game was in pure form on yesterday rushing for 309 total yards which is completely the opposite of last year. The offensive line was really physical, and they just wore down Clemson's front time after time. Dem Tigers rallied up an amazing 644 total yards while just holding Clemson to a mere 154 yards.
This game left me with many questions is LSU just this good or was Clemson just that bad???? is Dabo Swinney job in jeopardy, should he had changed his stance in the portal?
Clemson analysis:
Defense gets an F grade. The front line disappeared on the line of scrimmage allowing LSU to bully 309 rushing yards. Clemson couldn't protect the edge allowing LSU Quarterback to just outrun them down the sideline.
Offense came out lack luster, they couldn't create anything on third downs, they couldn't draft any movement and failed to extend drives down the turf.
Quarterback issues, (shaking my head) The quarterback Christopher Vizzina had issues moving the ball and a substantial interception that ended up with a 30-yard pick six. He only completed 10 of 16 passes just to get 83 yards (Gheesh)
Based off the game yesterday, where do you start in cleaning up the issues... I guess we will have to wait and see if this game will be a motivator for Clemson or a nail in its coffin.
