The Los Angeles Lakers got swept in game 4 by the Oklahoma City Thunder
The Los Angeles Lakers season is over and revaluation begins.
Well...it's a little sad that the Los Angeles Lakers couldn't at least win one game at home for the fans. The Lakers were outmanned and overpowered with Oklahoma City Thunder offensive starters and the bench. This series ending was no surprise. The Lakers just didn't have enough offensive shooters on their roster to pull them through.
Unfortunately, even when Shai Gilgeous Alexander wasn't having one of their breakout games, the Lakers just couldn't get any offensive momentum to take advantage. Last night game was tight going down to the wire, Rui Hachimura tried to keep the Lakers a fighting chance by hitting timely threes in the last couple of minutes but just wasn't able to capitalize on the defensive end to make stops.
Oklahoma moves on from a four-game sweep, they will wait on the Minnesota Timberwolves vs San Antonio Spurs series to see who their next opponent will be.
As for the Los Angeles Lakers their journey ends this season, and the revaluation begins. Three names come in mind Luka Doncic, Deandre Ayton, and Marcus Smart, hmmm. I will stop right there.
As the lights dim on the King (King James) this season, will he try the reign again next year is the question. Will powder smoke fill the basketball arena again next year or will he retire the crown and throne. Whatever he chooses much respect.
