NEW YORK KNICKS SLUGGISH START BUT WITH CAPTAIN CLUTCH PULLED OUT THE WIN
The New York Knicks shook the rust off and pulled out the unbelievable win
The game with New York Knicks and Cleveland Cavaliers I was prepared to write a different blog this morning. If you saw the game last night you know that there is a such thing as rust being off for multiple days in between games, the Knicks is a clear example. The New York Knicks started the game slow at the Cavaliers pace, offensively they struggled to find rhythm. The 3-point shot just wouldn't fall, ring OG Anunoby struggled to find his shot after his return from suffering a hamstring injury.
Clevland Cavaliers came with the hype and started the game strong Donovan Mitchell had his way weaving in between defenders. The 3 quarters was a wrap, Cleveland dominated being up by 20 plus points even though they struggled to maintain possessions, losing the ball, turn overs.
Then came New York Knicks Jalen "4th quarter terminator" Brunson he took control of the 4th quarter, working against James Harden in ISO and inching his way basket after basket, providing a inspirational lift to his team where Mikal Bridges hit two major threes and Landry Shamet also jumped in with his 3 pointer, chipping away point after point until they tied the game sending it to overtime, and a major win afterwards. Jalen scored 38 points and 16 points in the 4th quarter.
Well understandably may have gotten worn out as the game went on due to the competitive 7game series with Detroit Pistons. But right now, all they can think about is how they blew an opportunity, and how they are going to get Harden to not defend Jalen.
Great Game, this playoff is getting so interesting. You don't know what you will miss during a bathroom break.
