Yikes Boston Celtics fans this game going to game 7
Philadelphia done woke up and the Celtics should feel really worried.
Philadelphia the City of Brotherly love showed no love to the Boston Celtics last night. Philadelphia 76ers was clicking on offense. Just the mere presence of Joel Embiid has changed the trajectory and scope of Phillys game. The offense had Boston scrambling so bad that even Jayson Tatum ended up having problems with his calf and sat out most of the second half.
Remember this game was an elimination game for Philadelphia, Win or Go Home. Philadelphia wasn't ready to go pulling out the fishing gear quite yet. They branded a masterpiece; in full force players Tyrese Maxey and Paul George were great on both sides of the basketball, offensively and defensively.
The two players were combined of 55 points. Joel Embiid considering he is back from an injury he was great also managing 10 rebounds.
Boston Celtics on the other hand was in defensive mode all night. They tried to stop the bleeding by their defense, but it exasperated and depleted their offense. They tried by just shooting up three-point shots, but they would have done better shooting an ant in a barrel. The shots just weren't falling in; at one point they went 11 three pointers in a row and none of them went in. (Brutal)
Game 7 will be played on tomorrow (Dang) on May 2, 2026 at 6:30pm. This game will be a nail biter. Everything is on the line. Who knew that this series would be interesting Boston Celtics was leading this series 3-1. Now the Celtics back is against the wall, who will show up, who will be ready, who will crumble.
