Teachable Moments-San Antonio Spurs loss to Minnesota Timberwolves Game 4
Victor Wembanyama got ejected and Minnesota Timberwolves capitalized in Game 4
Talk about teachable moments this game was physical to the utmost, somethings the referee decided to let go, until San Antonio Spurs Victor Wembanyama went "the peoples elbow", on Naz Reid neck area. (Yep, wrong sport, you can't really do that) Umm especially not in front of the referee.
Unfortunately for the San Antonio Spurs Victor Wembanyama, the Spurs best player by the way got ejected with an assessment of a flagrant foul #2 during a rebound in the second quarter. Wemby reaction seemed confused to what a flagrant foul #2 really meant, you can visually see him on camera asking his teammate on what it meant. After explaining, (which this chalk board could have helped) the 7'4 center put on a hug fest before he took his exit.
Minnesota Timberwolves seized the opportunity and won game 4 bringing the series to a 2-2 tie. I am going to be hard on Minnesota right now: This game was by far a cake walk for Minnesota after Wembys exit. After halftime notably in the 3rd quarter the Spurs outscored the Timberwolves and I understand without Wemby the game sped up but there was no excuse to have the perimeter not defensively guarded. There were times where the Spurs would drive inside drawing all defenders and kick the ball back out and the shooter was left wide open without a man in sight. (Sigh)
If it wasn't for Anthony Edwards crazy heroics bad knees and all clearly, this could have been a different outcome.
Minnesota has tied the series 2-2 with score of 114 to San Antonio 109.
It done got interesting yall.... Game 5 will be played tomorrow on May 12, 2026 @7:00pm
