NBA JA Morant is following the yellow brick road to the Portland Trailblazers

Ja Morant and little Toto leaving the Memphis Grizzlies to head down that yellow brick road to the Portland Trailblazers. 

Wow Ja Morant in the free agency, which is turning out to be a roller coaster ride has been traded to Portland Trailblazers from the Memphis Grizzlies. In the exchange Portland Trailblazers sent Jerami Grant and Kris Murray for the Memphis superstar. 

On a serious note, Ja Morant was a lot to Memphis during his tenure there he was there brand of freshness incorporating a new style that connected to the new generation. Ja brought his style of play that was filled with high flying, dare devil jumping and slam dunking that would leave you in awe. Ja southern swag on the court brought created its own fan base of its own.  Ja who is 26 years old and has a lot of basketball left has shown his complete competitiveness through the years, with Portland he has been given another opportunity to create and show his next level of greatness. 

I am a firm believer in second chances, we all know his journey has been marred with poor choices and injury struggles. In Portland hopefully he can start anew in another environment. 

Ja going to Portland will prove to be different for the NBA player because he will be in a different realm. Ja will come into the team not being the main man anymore he is now amongst some true next level ballers. The team already has Damian Lilliard, Jru Holiday and Scoot Henderson which is a great collab within itself.  Honestly this pairing was not on my bingo card. The extra component with Ja's game could be a make or break for Portland. If this works with all of these guards, this was the best decision ever if not then.... well... umm what was Portland thinking.

I am interested in a great comeback story for Ja, I am interested in the personality dynamic between all these guards, and I am interested on if or how they will distribute the ball
