Will the San Antonio Spurs make a run in New York??

Will San Antonio bring the drama to New York and flip the script.

Hold on first of all before I start, this picture got me dying laughing. Sorry!!!

A recap of the NBA finals, Game 1 in San Antonio, The New York Knicks won 105-95. In the first half San Antonio came out offensively and showed their youth. San Antonio played with a hustle and intent, building a 14-point lead.

Drama Moment: This game gave the New York Knicks fans a scare because Jalen Brunson left the game early due to a knee injury. The whole Finals seemed to just evaporate from the fan's dreams at that point. To my dismay Jalen Brunson came back in the game and then tweaked his ankle (Dear Lord). Brunson seemed to brush it off and went on a tangent offensively and defensively and had erased the 14-point deficit.

Victor Wembanyama came out in the game with 26 points, but then in the second quarter he seemed to struggle offensively, and at times it looked like the guards had a hard time feeding him the ball in the paint.

Game 2 San Antonio came out ultra-aggressive in this game they were playing defense like they were in a fight for the last to go plate at a family reunion. The referees were over generous to the San Antonio Spurs the whole night, it was a very one sided.  In the first half Wemby for the Spurs came out pensive and seemed to be intimidated by Karl Anthony Towns and he seemed to retreat from the paint all together. The New York Knicks took advantage of the opportunity and managed to secure a 14-point lead; but as we all know no lead is safe.

The New York Knicks lead vanished quick when the Spurs came back with purpose and with a minute left, they tied the game. In a few seconds left on the clock, Wemby in taking the ball down the court he made a mistake and threw the ball at his teammates back and Jalen Brunson gathered it and stole the ball, Brunson was fouled immediately by Wemby sending Brunson to the foul line for a pair of free throws. Brunson got one out of 2 free throws and with the advancement of the ball and 9 seconds left it was on San Antonio Spurs back to win or lose. San Antonio decided to take the second option and they lost 105-104.

New York leads San Antonio 2-0 in this series

Now here we are headed to the Big Apple with San Antonio Spurs where the crowd will be loud, overzealous, and downright CRAZY. Antonio will have to play desperate and Wemby will have to play Karl Anthony Towns aggressive, and he will have to utilize speed and his size to dominate. This will be a great feat for them to implement especially since Karl Anthony Towns has been playing great in this series and is pushing Wemby on the perimeter. Also, another issue is containing Jalen Brunson, double teaming him is not working, while they are limiting his mobility and offense, he is able to distribute the ball to his counterparts and they are shooting. The have not really figured out an answer for him that really works.

Game 3 will be a showdown at its fullest; who wants it, who will step up!!
Nachos ready!!!!
