US OPEN WINNERS AND FAILURES

UPDATE: WINNERS AND LOSERS

First let's get into my motto never wear couture to a street fight. Well Taylor Townsend went completely different from this motto she came out in a red carpet black beaded coat, which looked to weigh several pounds it was dripping with beading from the hood to the ground. I guess she didn't listen to Deonte Wilder when he complained the reason he lost a fight was because his mask and attire weighted way too much. But anyway, she wore it and she entered the tennis court ring and lost in true fashion (no pun intended) Townsend played the #1 player women's player Aryna Sabalenka and let's just say she got handled.  There was a little hope from Taylor in the beginning of the match where she broke Sabalenka three times, but Sabalenka came back with a vengeance. Sabalenka base line power was no match for Taylor by keeping her at the baseline it prevented Taylor to serve and volley. Sabalenka was able to generate 14 break points in the game and broke Townsends serve 7 times. The final score was 6-4, 6-3.

This was the best women's match if you ask me Iva Jovic and Alexandra Eala. this game was evenly matched and could have gone either way. This 3 hour and 3-minute match was everything, it was packed with heavy hitting, long rallies, pristine ball placement. This game was intense with energy and emotionally charge. The 14th seed American Jovic won the match against the 17th seeded Philippine phenom Eala 7-5, 3-6, 7-5

Nothing to see here Jessica Pegula beat Sorana Cirstea 6-3, 6-4,
Nothing to see here Ben Shelton beat Stefanoes Tsitsipas 6-2, 6-3, 6-4 now has to play Carlos Alcaraz
Nothing to see here Frances Tiafoe beat Danii Medvedev 7-6, 6-4, 7-6

On to the next round
