ALABAMA CRIMSON TIDE BEATS EAST CAROLINA
Alabama Crimson Tide won against East Carolina 48-10.
While Alabama took the win there are some questions that remain, is Alabama as good as the hype.
There are some good takeaways one being:
The quarterback for Alabama Crimson Tide, Keelon Russell was what everyone has been waiting on how does he measure up.
The sophomore quarterback Keelon Russell made 342 yards and a touchdown. But... there is still a familiar sign of complacency where Alabama did not score in the 3rd quarter.
The ground game gets a A+ , this reminds me of Alabama of yester year of the Saban era, forcing the ball down the opponent's throat. The ground game has improved the team powered up 227 rushing yards to include 4 touch downs.
The defense gets an A showed up and held East Carolina to just five first downs and 2 rushing yards. And the defense posed their will and stopped the 3rd down conversions.
The receiver Ryan Coleman Williams showed some spurts of his old self but he still dropping balls. This is a concern.
It's so early to tell if this team is the best one in the last three years. So many questions. Way too many penalties, drop balls, complacency. If you ask me Alabama score should have been higher.
Great win hopefully they tweak a couple of things and the momentum will carry.
