Cleveland Browns Quarterback Competition

 LET'S TALK SOME FOOTBALL: BROWNS QUARTERBACK DILEMMA 

Cleveland Browns is going through NFL minicamp right now getting ready for football season. What Clevland Browns is not discussing is the quarterback situation (hmmm). In the minicamp there is a strong competition between two players vying for the quarterback position, Deshuan Watson and Shedeur Sandars. 

This is the perfect pair in a lot of ways (lol) Lets dive in: 

Deshaun Watson was picked in the first round to the Houston Texans then was traded to Cleveland Browns

Shedeur Sandars was picked in the fifth round to Cleveland Browns

Deshaun Watson started his career with great dominance his rookie year showed great dominance with 5 touchdowns against Tennessee Titans making him tied for the NFL single game record in touchdowns. DeShaun Watson continued his success with five passing touchdowns against Kansas City Chiefs. With his leadership on the turf, he won the AFC Offensive Player of the month and NFL Offensive Rookie of the month. 

Deshaun Watson career took a major turn due to several major injuries; torn ACL, retorn ACL, rotator cuff, broken glenoid. Let's not talk about his other issues off the turf and the alleged misappropriate and manhandling of his football with two-dozen massage therapist. (yikes)

Deshaun Watson missed the 2025 season due to the ACL injury, and you really don't know what Deshaun is capable of at this juncture.

Then on the other side you have Shedeur Sandars, just like his father Deion Sanders the big personality and brash big talker. Shedeur started seven games of the season and finished with a 3-4 record. He managed to get 1,400 passing yards, for touchdowns he has 7 passing and 1 rushing and 10 interceptions. Shedeur took 23 sacks in those games. With the percentage of sacks taken in the games, which he is clearly showing struggles in him going through his progressions is going to have him also on the injury list; just like Deshaun. 

Who will the Browns pick???? This will be interesting. I know who I would pick, (another quarterback) LOL!!!!
